What else? What do you enjoy doing? Have you ever felt like your age limits your credibility?

All of those things I mentioned take natural talent as well as a lot of hard work. Rachelle Gardner shared a post on her blog about athletes who go to the Olympic training centers. This is what she had to say:

These athletes are talented and gifted beyond the ordinary. They’re already elite before they get to the training center. They’ve won hundreds of competitions in their sport. They know they’re “good.” So what do they do? Do they sit back and expect coaches to come knocking and invite them to join the Olympic team?

No, they do the opposite. They give up everything and work harder than ever to take themselves from good to great. They spend at least 40 hours a week focused on improving their game. And they were already one of the best.

You can read the rest of the post HERE.

You see, those already elite athletes don’t sit back and wait for success to fall into their laps, and they don’t wait until they’re older. They sacrifice; they work hard; and they dedicate much of their lives to making their dream a reality.

What are your dreams? What do you spend time learning and developing?
I’d love to hear from you about this! And be sure to tune in to Teen Talk Radio tonight at 10pm EST when we’ll be discussing teens with dreams. Lezlie Evans will be joining me.
